UIP conducts fresher party Subhaarambh-2023 for its freshers’

United Institute of Pharmacy (UIP), Naini conducted the annual fresher's party "Subhaarambh-2023" for newly enrolled students in M. Pharmacy, B. Pharmacy, and D. Pharmacy programs at UCER Auditorium. The students were given a warm welcome by their seniors on this occasion.

The program kicked off with the lamp lighting ceremony followed by SaraswatiVandana.

UIP Principal Prof Alok Mukherjee, UCER principal Prof. HP Shukla, UIM Principal Prof KK Malviya, UIT principal Prof. Sanjay Srivastava and UIM-FUGS principal Dr. DevendraTiwari extended their blessings to all the students and wished for their bright future.

A series of performances given by the juniors and the seniors left the audience spell bound.

Awards were given to outstanding students from different streams.

In D. Pharm, the title of Mr. Fresher was awarded to Mr. Deepak Kumar, while Ms. Fresher was awarded to Drishti Mishra.

Similarly, titles of Mr. and Ms. Fresher from the B. Pharm stream were clinched by Nihal Mishra and Shreya Mishra while awards of Mr. and Ms. Personality were given to Himanshu Mishra and komalkotarya. The titles of Mr. and Ms. Evening from M. Pharm were secured by Kshitij and DivyaVerma.

World Pharmacist Day

The World Pharmacist Day with a theme "Pharmacists strengthening health system" was being organized at United Institute of Pharmacy (UIP), Naini Prayagraj.

The event was started on 25th September 2022. Elocution competition and Power point presentation competition were organized at UIP campus with a theme of “Pharmacists strengthening health system” consisting of sub topics Well being and community pharmacist, Innovation in community pharmacist, Pharmacists always trusted for your health, Moral values and Reputation of a pharmacist, Law concern with pharmacy.

UIP Principal, Prof.(Dr.) Alok Mukerjee welcomed the guests Dr. Danish Ahmed, Associate Professor, Pharmacology, Sam Higginbottom University o Agriculture Technology and sciences (SHUATS), Prayagraj by presenting bouquet.

HODs along with faculties and students of D.Pharm., B.Pharm and M.Pharm. were present on the occasion.

Speaking as chief on 'World Pharmacist Day' at UCER auditorium, Dr. Danish Ahmed, Associate Professor, Pharmacology, Sam Higginbottom University o Agriculture Technology and sciences (SHUATS), Prayagraj said the importance of being celebration of World Pharmacist Day and the role of Pharmacist in health care system. He said about Pharmacists are strengthening health system difficulties arise in growth of Pharmacy Profession. He told that it is important to understand the current needs of health care system and how the pharmacist can fulfill these needs.

Head of department Pharmacognosy, Dr. Shanti Bhushan Mishra honored to Dr. Danish Ahmed by presenting him memento as an expression of our gratitude.

The event was ended with a vote of thanks presented by Mrs. Archita Srivastava, Assistant Professor, UIP.

Eye Checkup Camp

Eye Checkup Camp Organized by United Institute of Pharmacy, Naini, Prayagraj in association with SHARP SIGHT EYE HOSPITAL, PRAYAGRAJ 11 AUGUST 2023

An eye checkup camp was held in United Institute of Pharmacy, Prayagraj on Friday, August 11, 2023.

A teamofEye specialists Mr. Anubhav Bhatt, Mr. ManeeshYadav, Mr. Meraj Ahmad, Mr. AmitTripathi, Mr. Adil under the supervision of Mr. Saurabh Gupta (Deputy Manager, Marketing) from SHARP SIGHT EYE HOSPITAL, PRAYAGARAJ came to do eye checkup.Prof. (Dr.) AlokMukerjee, Principal UIP welcomes the team with a warm gesture.Entire faculties and staff members of UGI were present and the checkup was advantageous for the faculties and staff members as they got an opportunity to know more about various aspects of eye care. The team brought well –equipped eye examination tools to examine effectively.

The objective of this event was to spread awareness on eye disorder, their early detection and detect refractive errors and eye ailments.

'ADIÓS-23' (Farewell-2023)

A farewell function 'ADIÓS-23' for passing out students of D.pharm, B.pharm, and M.pharm students was organized by United Institute of Pharmacy (UIP) at UCER Auditorium, on Tuesday. The event embarked on with Principal UIP Prof Alok Mukerjee welcoming guests and students, accompanied by lamp lightening, Saraswati vandana and enlighteing words of wisdom by distinguished guests, Principal UIM Prof K K Malviya, Principal UCER Prof H P Shukla, Principal UIT Prof Sanjay Srivastava, Principal UIM FUGS Prof Devendra Tiwari, and the event was delighted to have the presence of Dr Divya Bartariya (Head CRC), Dr Nandita Pradhan, Dean Planning and Development, Dr Swapnil Srivastava, Dean (Academics) Dr Sudhanshu Kanojia, Mr V K Agrawal, Mr V N Tiwari, Col. R K Singh (Chief Administrative Officer, UGI) HoD Dr Anil Kumar Singh and various faculty members, teaching and non- teaching staff.

Various dancing and singing performances were the limelight of the show which entertained the audiences throughout the day.

Juniors organized various entertaining games for seniors to participate and made the day more commemorative.

The day marked it's end with students receiving prizes from Prinicipal UIP Prof Alok Mukerjee, HoD Pharmacognosy Dr Shanti Bhushan Mishra and other senior faculty members.

Aarambh-2022

The annual Fresher's party for the M. Pharmacy, B. Pharmacy, and D. Pharmacy programmes at UCER Auditorium, named "Aarambh-2022", was held on December 3rd, 2022. The event aimed to introduce the newly enrolled first-year students to the existing student body. The inauguration of the function involved lighting the ceremonial lamp and garlanding the statue of Goddess Saraswati. The esteemed dignitaries who performed these honours were Prof. H. P. Shukla, Principal of UCER, Prof. K. K. Malviya, Principal of UIM, Dr. Alok Mukerjee, Principal of UIP. During the event, awards were given to outstanding students from different streams. In the D. Pharm stream, the title of Mr. Personality was awarded to Gyanendra, while Ms. Personality was awarded to Pallavi. The coveted titles of Mr. and Ms. Fresher from the D. Pharm stream were bestowed upon Sachin Chaurasiya and Anuradha. In the B. Pharm stream, the eagerly awaited awards of Mr. and Ms. Fresher were given to Ayush Tripathi and Shruti Shukla. The titles of Mr. and Ms. Evening B. Pharm were secured by Dilshad Ahmad and Snehil Tiwari. The event successfully facilitated the introduction of the first-year students to the college community and provided a platform to recognize and celebrate the achievements and personalities of various students across different pharmacy programs.


National Pharmacy Week 2022

United Institute of Pharmacy has organised two day event on the occasion of National Pharmacy Week 2022 on the theme: Pharmacy of the World - India on 24th & 25th November 2022. Ms. Suman Jaiswal was the master of ceremony.

Inauguration session was preceded by honorable guest Dr. ParjanyaShukla, Associate Professor and Head of Department, Krishnarpit Institute of Pharmacy, Prayagraj, Prof. Alok Mukherjee, Principal, United Institute of Pharmacy, Prayagraj and dignified faculty members of UIP. MsShalini had given vote of thanks of inaugural session. The NPW 2022 event was also comprises of various indoor and outdoor events including: Rangoli Competition, Best out of waste competition, Insta cook competition, kabbadi competition, kho- kho competition, carrom, chess competition, Tug of war, volley ball, video making and various other events. The entire events were coordinated by students of B Pharmacy and M Pharmacy. The valedictory session was preceded by MsSumanJaiswal All the winners received trophies. The event ended with vote of thanks by MsArchitaSrivastava.

The World Pharmacist Day with a theme "Pharmacy United in Action for a Healthier World" was being organized at United Institute of Pharmacy (UIP), Naini Prayagraj.

The event was started on 26th September 2022. Faculty Development Program on “Recent Advancement in Pharmaceuticals Sciences Research to Revenue” 22-27, Aug 2022

The week-long Faculty Development Program (FDP) being organized at United Institute of Pharmacy (UIP), Naini concluded with valedictory function, on Saturday.

Speaking as chief on ‘Recent Advancement in Pharmaceuticals Sciences Research to Revenue’ at UCER auditorium, *senior vice-president of ZydusCadila, Ahmedabad DrSubhashPande* said that in the era of technology transformation in the Pharma Industry, it is important to understand the current needs of the Pharmaceutical industry and fast changing technology including Automation and digitization.

He said the industry now needs skilled manpower and hence Pharma students should be imparted that kind of training and education.

On the occasion, honourable *President, United Group of Institutions (UGI) DrJagdishGulati Sir* extended his best wishes to the participants of the FDP and distributed certificates to them.
