Key Highlights
At United Group of Institutions, we believe in bridging the gap between academia and industry. With the Intel-powered AI Lab, we reaffirm our commitment to delivering future-focused education, hands-on learning, and global exposure to our students.
To supplement theoretical knowledge with practical skills the college has a number of workshops. The workshops have been equipped with hi-tech machine tools and related equipments. Both the colleges have Carpentry shop, Foundry & Forge shop, Fitting shop, Machine shop, Sheet metal shop, Smithy shop and Welding Shop.
The advance machining center houses precision lathes, honing, milling, drilling, shapers, slothers, surface grinders, etc. Foundry and forge are capable to provide castings. Welding workshop has the facility of oxygen acetylene, welding electric arch welding, resistance welding, TIG Welding and MIG Welding. Various cutting devices including gas cutting are available in Sheet Metal Workshop. The Fitting, Pattern, Carpentry and Smithy are the feeders to the workshops.
Neighbouring industries like Areva, Recron, ITI Ltd. effectively utilize the calibration, testing and manufacturing facility of the workshops. Students use workshop extensively for developing prototype working models.
Our state-of-the-art laboratories form the backbone of practical learning across core Engineering disciplines including Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, and Pharmacy. These labs are equipped with industry-grade instruments, modern simulation tools, and advanced testing facilities that enable students to translate theoretical concepts into real-world applications. Specialized laboratories such as VLSI, Power Systems, CAD/CAM, Fluid Mechanics, Concrete Technology, and Pharmaceutical Analysis and many more provide exposure to contemporary technologies and professional practices. Regular hands-on experiments, project-based learning, and research activities help students develop strong technical competence and problem-solving skills. The availability of safety-compliant workspaces and well-maintained equipment ensures a productive and secure learning environment. Book Bank lends text books on semester basis for each subject. This saves the expenditures of the students. Learning is enhanced through the regular availability of books for every students.

At United Group, the Corporate Relations Center (CRC) functions more than just placing students. While our students are annually recruited by Infosys, TCS, Wipro, L&T and other industry giants, we go a step further. We ensure that every student is 360 degrees employable rather than just providing employments.
Training takes up a large part of the CRC portfolio. Students are assessed in their second year with numerous aptitude and subjects tests. Their strengths and weaknesses are evaluated and are given highly individualized training. In the third year, we offer programmes not only to crack company interviews but also GATE, SAT and GRE.
At United, our endeavors for placing students do not end when the student passes out of our institutions. We have a strong alumni network, where we keep up to date with the current opportunities in their spheres of specialization. Our constant strive is to ensure that each deserving student gets a foothold in the industry or a college for higher studies after completing their bachelors programme. The CRC team is always available to help out the student
